  • Tyler finished the last race of the decade with a WIN in the Allison Legacy Series at Kershaw, South Carolina.
  • On December 19, 2009 Tyler received his Arca License by driving fifteen laps around Daytona International Speedway. That test session allows Tyler to race on all the tracks that the Arca Series runs.
  • Tyler competed in the second annual Polar Bear 150 in Rockingham, North Carolina. Practice was cut short New Years Eve due to rain which only allowed Tyler to get five laps for practice. From the five laps we decided to make a spring and wedge change for qualifying which picked us up a few spots for the start of the race. We started the race in 35th position and wanted to stay out of trouble and on the lead lap for the first half of the race. Everything was going as planned until lap seventy when the motor started to miss at the end of the straight away. The little miss put us a lap down but we were still in the top twenty. We started to make our move towards the front and with fifteen to go we were inside the top ten until a car the I was passing on the outside decided to drive the apron and took us out with only fourteen laps remaining. We finished 23 out of 65 cars.
  • 2010 looks to be a very busy year for Tyler and the TAS Racing team. Tyler will be racing the Allison Legacy Series, local dirt track races, the Frank Kimmel Series with the 1972 Chevelle, as well as late model races in several divisions. We are looking at other racing options for 2010 as well.
