First ARCA Race for 2012!
Tyler Speer is returning for another season of ARCA Racing at the Mobile ARCA 200 at Mobile International Speedway on March 10, 2012. After making his debut in 2010 at Rockingham, Speer ran two ARCA races in the 2011 season, which were both dirt races. Even though he is still at rookie status for this series, he has the experience, knowledge, and determination to become a veteran.
Speer, driver of the No. 10 car, tested the car at Gresham Motorsports Park last week and is very optimistic on the car. “The car was really responsive to the few changes that we had to make, and I think it will be hard to beat, “says Speer. The Woodstock , Georgia native has been working on the car for the past month to ensure the best results for the start of this upcoming season.
Schedule for 2012
The TAS Racing crew is hard at work for next year. We are working on the races we will participating in for the 2012 season and should have them published in the next few weeks. The 2011 season was a great year for our team. We have gone over our races both good and bad to learn and critique ourselves. “I feel like we have worked better as a team in the last few races together, and I can not wait for the 2012 season to start!” Tyler Said. Everyone from the TAS Racing would like to thank all of our loyal friends and fans for their support in 2011 and can not wait to see you in 2012.

ARCA Rookie May Be Most Experienced Driver at Rockingham
ROCKINGHAM, N.C. – An ARCA rookie in this Saturday’s American 200 at Rockingham Speedway may well be the most experienced driver in the field at the track. That is if you consider competing at all of the track’s venues. Tyler Speer of Woodstock, Ga., has run Little Rock in the Allison Legacy Series, the big track in the Frank Kimmel Streetstock Nationals Polar Bear 150 and he won the Allison Legacy event on Rockingham’s road course.
“I really enjoy racing at Rockingham,” Speer said, “especially the big track. I’m looking forward to running it with 800 horsepower and learning to race with some of the best drivers in the sport.”
The Chattanooga Auto Auction ARCA car will make three different classes of racecars that Speer has driven at The Rock. While the 19-year-old doesn’t qualify for NASCAR’s Driver Diversity program, his 2010 year should earn him a driving diversity award – Allison Legacy Car, Kimmel Streetstock, asphalt Pro Late Model and dirt Crate Model. And he is adding the ARCA car to his resume on Saturday. Oh yeah, for fun he even took time to compete on a team that won a 24-hours of Le Mans endurance road race at Carolina Motorsports Park.
